Fine art school portraits are timeless captures of your child just as they are. Serious or silly. Smiles and giggles are encouraged, but not forced. Pensive and reserved is perfect too.
I also offer sport and special occasion portraits including class/team composites.

FAQ
when is the best time to book?
Typically two weeks prior to your preferred date. However, fall fills up fast so inquire a few months in advance.
Studio sessions are scheduled between 9am - 6pm. Outdoor sessions are scheduled two hours before sunset or within an hour of sunrise.
what should I wear?
Think about what you feel good in. If you feel good, you'll look good. Your comfort and confidence will show.
Other considerations:
- Pick a color(s) that bring out your eyes.
- Avoid neon colors (they produce unpleasant color casts)
- Consider layers and textures
- Accessories can really help show your personality.
Watch the weather. If it's going to be cold, dress in layers. Consider long underwear and fleece lined tights for comfort. Sweaters and vests with layers underneath as well as hats, scarves, and mittens will help keep you and your family warm while adding textures and interest.
What will help make my session run smoothly?
For a family session with small children (or even big kids) make sure they are rested and fed and have had a chance to use the restroom. Once the basic comforts are addressed, just relax and enjoy this time with your family. We'll get the best photos when everyone is happy and having fun. We'll move around, play games, and get some beautiful photos while you love on your family.
COVID-19 Precautions
The studio is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before and after every session.
While I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19, I am happy to wear a mask indoors if preferred. Masks are not required for clients.
